Porsche has expanded the number of Macan models on offer with two new variants.

An entry-level Macan comes with rear-wheel drive and a single motor, providing the greatest range in the model line-up, delivering up to 398 miles from its 100kWh battery pack.

Its motor can generate up to 360 PS and maximum torque of 563 Nm, delivering 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 137mph.

The second new model is the Macan 4S, which sits between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. It features the Porsche Traction Management system, which distributes power between the front and rear axles five times faster than a conventional all-wheel-drive system.

Total power from its dual motors is 448 PS, with a short power overboost delivering 516 PS for overtaking. It can reach 62mph from a standstill in 4.1 seconds and achieve 149 mph. It also has an official range of 376 miles.

The Macan 4S is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) electronic damping control as standard. For all Macan models, the platform enables fast charging up to 270 kW, which could fill the battery from 10-80% in 21 minutes.

The updates also bring new colour and specification options

A new exterior colour, Slate Grey Neo, is added, along with an updated 20-inch wheel for the Macan S.

A new optional off-road design package modifies the front bumper, improves ground clearance, adds side skirts and roof railings.

There is also an updated interior display for the infotainment system as part of the Porsche Driver Experience. It includes a new welcome animation, updated design and a new Themes app, which adjusts the background colour of displays and the ambient lighting, with 12 colours to choose from.

To help customers explore the potential of the new Macan, Porsche offers a bespoke driving experience at the Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone, home to the British Grand Prix.

Before that moment, though, you have to lease your Macan. At Gateway2Lease we have some of the best offers on the market.
