Customer feedback shapes Mustang Mach-E update
Ford has refreshed the Mustang Mach-E with a series of updates based on direct feedback from customers.
Key changes include the addition of a heat pump to minimise energy consumption when warming the car in colder weather. There are also more personalisation options.
A new ‘Sport Appearance Package’ offers drivers some of the styling features of the top GT trim, but at a lower price point. These include grille and front-end design changes, 19-inch wheels, red Brembo brake callipers and interior upgrades with red stitching.
There are three additional colour options for 2025 cars and three new wheel designs, while the car’s technology has also received an upgrade.
A new Connectivity Package includes a 5G Wi-Fi Hotspot, which can support up to 10 devices on the road, a wide range of apps with Alexa built-in, and upgraded maps.
Ford has also enhanced its driver assistance system, BlueCruise, which offers more hands-free assistance, including automated lane changing to get around slower moving traffic on motorways.
Ventilated front seats are standard on Premium models, while there is a new gear shifter mounted on the steering column.
Leasing deliveries of the updated Ford Mach-E are expected to start from April 2025.
